Three series newcomers comprise the team for the 2017 season, yet all three left Leicestershire with a strong haul of points and plenty of valuable experience. Gloucestershire motor racing team Chris Dittmann Racing (CDR) has added French driver Tristan Charpentier to its line-up for the opening round of the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship at Oulton Park this weekend (15-17 April). The 16-year-old joins CDR following a strong performance in the French Formula 4 Championship last year, where he finished fifth in the final standings in a race-winning campaign. His graduation to BRDC F3 for this weekend marks his debut in British single-seater racing, though he has previous experience of competing the country from the Ginetta Junior Championship.
