Chris Dittmann Racing will expand into the revamped British F4 Championship in 2022, having placed orders for the new Tatuus-Abarth T421 car.

CDR’s entry into British F4 means that the team will benefit from the added exposure of the TOCA package, racing alongside the British Touring Car Championship in front of tens of thousands of spectators at each event, while also receiving live coverage on ITV4 across the UK. CDR last competed on the TOCA package in 2011, when it secured multiple podium finishes in the Ginetta G50 Cup.

British F4’s adoption of the new Tatuus-Abarth combination will bring the series in line with other leading F4 categories across the continent, and continue its reputation as a key proving ground for young talent, with names including Lando Norris, Dan Ticktum and IndyCar ace Colton Herta among the previous graduates from the series.
