Chris Dittmann Racing capped an impressive season of F3 Cup with victory at the final rounds at Oulton Park to wrap up second place in the Teams’ Championship. CDR ends BRDC British F3 campaign with three points finishes

Tewkesbury’s Chris Dittmann Racing (CDR) ended its BRDC British F3 championship action for the season with three points-scoring finishes, and pace to challenge for the top-ten, despite beginning the weekend on the back foot at Donington Park last weekend (23-24 September). The team fielded a single car for Jeremy Wahome in the championship finale, and the young Kenyan performed well to qualify 13th after only arriving at the circuit on Saturday morning. Cian Carey claims Leinster Trophy with CDR

Irish racer Cian Carey claimed a historic victory in the 2017 Leinster Trophy at Mondello Park to put his name beside some of motor racing’s greatest on the silverware. Past winners of the race, which dates back to the 1930s, include Ayrton Senna, Mike Hawthorn, John Watson and Mika Häkkinen. The entry meant Carey returned to Ireland and the BOSS Series for the first time since winning the 2016 title and stepping up to F3 Cup. CDR reigns supreme at Brands Hatch

Chris Dittmann Racing dominated around the Grand Prix circuit of Brands Hatch with a double victory for team owner Chris Dittmann. Cian Carey made it double joy in the first race with a fine podium from the fourth row of the grid. The two wins for Dittmann, who replaced Jonathon Hughes at late notice, stretches his impressive unbeaten 2017 run to four races, having claimed a brace of wins at Snetterton when he filled in for Phillip Jeans. CDR looking to bounce back at Brands

The penultimate rounds of F3 Cup see another new face at CDR as a four-strong team visits the Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch. Monoposto winner and historic single-seater victor Jonathon Hughes joins the team for the first time for what will be his second F3 Cup event. Chris Dittmann Racing’s (CDR) BRDC British F3 Championship campaign resumes this weekend with a return to Snetterton for the second time this season. This will be the penultimate outing of the year for the Tewkesbury squad’s BRDC British F3 arm as the season heads towards a close at Donington Park next month. Chris Dittmann Racing’s quartet of F3 Cup drivers suffered a trying three races at Snetterton in the latest rounds of the 2017 season. Chris Dittmann Racing welcomes French racer Baptiste Leonard to the team for the next rounds of F3 Cup, taking place at Snetterton on August 12-13. Leonard, who competes in VdeV in a Formula Renault, will contest rounds 12, 13 and 14 in the car of Peter Venn, who misses the weekend. CDR cars battle for points at the front as BRDC British F3 returns to Brands Hatch

Chris Dittmann Racing’s (CDR) BRDC British F3 team was right in the thick of the action on the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit last weekend (5-6 August) challenging for points throughout the event.
