CDR’s BRDC British F3 campaign returns to Snetterton this weekend

Chris Dittmann Racing’s (CDR) BRDC British F3 Championship campaign resumes this weekend with a return to Snetterton for the second time this season. This will be the penultimate outing of the year for the Tewkesbury squad’s BRDC British F3 arm as the season heads towards a close at Donington Park next month.

CDR heads to the Norfolk circuit as a team in good form following a promising front-running display at Brands Hatch earlier in the month, where both of its drivers were able to challenge towards the front.

Kenyan Jeremy Wahome enjoyed one of his best weekends to date with CDR, finishing in the top-ten in two of the races, whilst a chance to finish on the podium was scuppered by contact in the weekend’s second race.

His team-mate Omar Ismail displayed well too, bringing home the team’s best result of the weekend to finish fourth.

Snetterton has been a happy hunting ground for CDR in the past, with multiple previous victories in the BRDC F4 Championship with Tom Jackson and Ismail. The squad has enjoyed a great deal of success there in the F3 Cup championship as well.

The team will take to the track on Saturday for qualifying and the first race of the weekend, before two more races on the Sunday.

CDR Team Principal Chris Dittmann said: “I always look forward to any trip to Snetterton, whether it be in BRDC British F3, the F3 Cup, or anything else. It’s somewhere that we’ve always seemed to go well in the past, and we’ve enjoyed a fair bit of success there.

“We know that we’re capable of giving Omar the tools to win here, as we have done before, and Jeremy has show he’s capable of fighting at the front too. I hope that we can have a clean weekend and deliver the kind of results I know that we’re capable of achieving.”
