Strong finish to tricky weekend for Chris Dittmann Racing at Silverstone

Chris Dittmann Racing continued its positive start to the GB3 Championship season with further point scoring finishes at the weekend (May 7/8), as the series had three races on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. Chris Dittmann Racing began the 2022 GB3 Championship season with a strong weekend at Oulton Park, recording five top-ten finishes – with two top-five results – giving both drivers and the team a good boost for the rest of the year. At a venue which is both spectacular but also tricky on which to cleanly overtake, qualifying was going to be extremely important. After an extensive pre-season testing programme, Chris Dittmann Racing is excited to begin competition in both the GB3 Championship and, for the first time, in the F4 British Championship over the next couple of weekends. A regular entrant in what is now known as the GB3 Championship since 2013, the team has claimed 15 race wins in that time, with Ayrton Simmons finishing third in the standings in 2019 and following up with the runner up spot last year. F4 title challenger McKenzy Cresswell graduates to GB3 with Chris Dittmann Racing

Multiple British F4 race-winner McKenzy Cresswell will join Chris Dittmann Racing as he steps up to the GB3 Championship partnered by the BRDC in 2022. The 15-year-old won six British F4 races in 2021, two more than any other driver, with five additional podiums on his way to third overall in the standings in his first car racing campaign.
