Chris Dittmann Racing is excited to announce that British teenager Bart Harrison will be joining the team for the 2024 season, as he takes the step up from karting to compete in the F4 British Championship. The 16-year-old first caught the racing bug aged five after an outing to an indoor karting track, with racing quickly becoming an obsession for the youngster. Joining Fusion Motorsport in 2017, Bart continued to grow on track, gaining knowledge and speed which helped him ascend the ranks. Chris Dittmann Racing added to its impressive history with its first title in the F4 British Championship in just its second season in the series, as Gustav Jonsson clinched the Rookie Cup on a memorable weekend (October 6-8) at Brands Hatch. With good performance during Friday’s practice sessions, both drivers felt confident heading into qualifying. Chris Dittmann Racing had a solid weekend in the F4 British Championship (August 26/27), scoring an overall podium with Gustav Jonsson and claiming two Rookie Cup victories as well. Lining up with the Swedish racer and Jack Sherwood – at his local circuit of Donington Park – once again, both drivers had to contend with an added 30-minute delay before qualifying, as barrier repairs were needed after the prior BTCC session. Chris Dittmann Racing travelled north of the border at the weekend (August 11-13), as rounds 22, 23 and 24 of the F4 British Championship took place at Knockhill in Scotland. It was a strong weekend for the team, with a hat-trick of podium appearances despite tricky race conditions to show for its efforts. Chris Dittmann Racing returned to F4 British Championship action at the weekend (July 28-30) after a five-week summer break, as the series headed to Croft in North Yorkshire. With three more Rookie Cup podium appearances for Gustav Jonsson, the youngster now leads the standings by 26 points. Chris Dittmann Racing headed to sunny Northamptonshire at the weekend (June 23-25) as the F4 British Championship raced at Silverstone; the home of British motorsport, on the iconic Grand Prix circuit for the first time. After a mixed bag of results in Friday’s free practice, it was straight into qualifying on Saturday morning for the three young racers.
