Chris Dittmann Racing secured its third victory in as many weekends in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, as Tommy Harfield produced a superb drive at Brands Hatch during the final meeting of the season (3–5 October).
Tommy was joined by Piotr Orzechowski, taking part in just his third race weekend, as both drivers battled challenging conditions on Friday during a wet and windy practice. They were met with very different weather on Saturday morning for qualifying, held under sunny skies but with parts of the track damp. Two red flags interrupted proceedings, leaving a 10-minute dash to the chequered flag, with Tommy ending 12th and Piotr 21st.
Tommy made a strong start to race one a few hours later, gaining two positions off the line and another on lap two, while Piotr also climbed one place. As the contest settled, Tommy ran seventh in a five-car battle for fourth, while Piotr was locked in his own four-car scrap. In the closing stages, Tommy gained another position to finish sixth, with Piotr taking the flag in 18th.
Starting from pole for race two on Sunday morning, Tommy held the lead off the line, while Piotr struggled to get away and fell to the back of the field. However, the young Polish driver quickly recovered to catch the pack and gained a position, as out front, Tommy looked composed under pressure. He set the fastest lap and steadily built a gap to secure his third victory in three weekends, while Piotr battled hard to finish 21st.
For the final race of the 2025 season, Tommy once again started well, gaining two positions before turn one and another within the opening few corners. From there he held position in a closely matched field to secure another top 10 result. Piotr also delivered a solid performance, slipping back early on before recovering to 20th by the finish.
After a memorable conclusion to the campaign, which featured three victories in three weekends following Tommy’s step up from the Challenge Cup – a title he was on course to win – Chris Dittmann Racing will now enjoy a short winter break before announcing its 2026 plans in due course.
Chris Dittmann, Team Principal
“To finish the season with three victories in three weekends is a brilliant achievement and a true reflection of the hard work from everyone in the team. Tommy has been sensational this year, delivering outstanding performances race after race. Piotr has also shown great progress in a short space of time, and this experience will be invaluable for him going forward. I’m incredibly proud of the entire team and drivers for the way they’ve ended the season, and we can head into the winter with our heads held high.”
