Malaysian driver Chia Wing Hoong will compete for Chris Dittmann Racing at this weekend’s season opener at Oulton Park. The 22-year-old joins the series after a varied single-seater career which has seen him race across Europe and in Asia over the past year. Harry Webb moves up to British F3 with Chris Dittmann Racing

Chris Dittmann Racing has confirmed that Formula 4 graduate Harry Webb will join the team for the 2018 BRDC British F3 Championship. The Norfolk-based driver finished second in the British F4 Challenge Cup category last year with four class victories, and just missed out on a top-10 overall classification, despite missing three of the 10 rounds. CDR cars battle for points at the front as BRDC British F3 returns to Brands Hatch

Chris Dittmann Racing’s (CDR) BRDC British F3 team was right in the thick of the action on the legendary Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit last weekend (5-6 August) challenging for points throughout the event. Both cars were close to the ultimate pace in Saturday’s qualifying session, with Kenyan Jeremy Wahome leading the CDR charge with 10th overall at the close of the session. CDR back in the top 10 at Silverstone

Chris Dittmann Racing’s (CDR) BRDC British Formula 3 Championship team returned to the top 10 in all three of last weekend’s races at Silverstone, as the Tewkesbury squad bounced back strongly from a difficult prior round at Snetterton. Both of the team’s drivers were able to cash in and finish in the top-ten, putting the squad in a positive position ahead of the championship’s imminent month-long break. Omar Ismail has rejoined Chris Dittmann Racing (CDR) for a full-season return to single-seaters in BRDC British Formula 3. Ismail, 17, scored CDR’s maiden victory in the series in 2015, winning at Snetterton before the championship changed its name to BRDC British F3. Jeremy Wahome re-signs for 2017 British F3

Kenyan racer Jeremy Wahome will contest his second season of the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship with Chris Dittmann Racing in 2017, with podiums the target. Wahome made his European racing debut with the Tewkesbury-based team last season, acclimatising to the UK circuits under CDR’s tutelage. In a rapidly improving year the 18-year-old scored a best-placed finish of ninth on the demanding Silverstone Grand Prix circuit, and wrapped up the season with a 10th at Donington Park. CDR alumnus tests G Drive LMP2

Tom Jackson, BRDC F4 race-winner with Chris Dittmann Racing, was given a taste of top-line prototypes in Bahrain as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s rookie test on November 20. The Kent 20-year-old spent two days driving the Jota-run G-Drive LMP2 that secured third in the championship with a dramatic victory in the 6 Hours of Bahrain just the day before. He completed 24 laps and ended the session seventh fastest, sharing driving duties with the more experienced Felix Serralles. Mixed fortunes at F3 finale

The BRDC British Formula 3 Championship concluded at Donington Park with a strong showing from Jeremy Wahome and Omar Ismail, but the unfortunate Krishnaraaj Mahadik was forced onto the sidelines by injury. Ismail rejoins CDR

Omar Ismail will be reunited with Chris Dittmann Racing at the final rounds of the BRDC Formula 3 season at Donington Park on September 10-11. The Solihull teenager replaces American Quinlan Lall, who is unable to contest the finale due to external factors. Ismail has previous experience of the F3 car having raced in the opening weekend for HHC Motorsport, claiming 12th and 16th either side of a non-finish.
