Chris Dittmann Racing is pleased to announce that Zak Taylor will be returning to the team for a full GB3 Championship campaign in 2023. The 20-year-old impressed the Tewkesbury-based outfit last season, having made a late switch to race in the final two weekends of the championship with Chris Dittmann Racing, scoring three top ten finishes in six races. After building a strong working relationship with the team through those two meetings, the young Brit will be looking to continue the positive momentum into 2023, with the hopes of collecting some silverware after claiming a maiden series podium at Spa-Francorchamps[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing is pleased to announce that talented young French racer Arthur Rogeon will join the team in the GB3 Championship in 2023 and ’24, for what will be his maiden car racing campaign. The 16-year-old began his karting career in 2017, placing third in the Coupe de France Cadet FFSA during an impressive debut season. He continued to compete in France and across Europe in the following years, most recently appearing in the FIA Karting World Championship in Italy in 2022. Having his first taste of single-seaters during post-season testing with Chris Dittmann Racing, the teenager impressed with[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing completed its 2022 GB3 Championship campaign at Donington Park at the weekend (October 15/16), enjoying a quartet of top ten finishes and showing strong pace to end the season on a positive note. After an impressive showing during pre-event testing, in which Zak Taylor was the fourth fastest car on Friday, it was straight into qualifying, where he and McKenzy Cresswell would look to carry over the promising pace. After issues kept McKenzy in the pit for the first couple of minutes of the session, he struggled to get up to speed with the rest of the[…..]
After a long six-week summer break, Chris Dittmann Racing returned to action at Brands Hatch this weekend (10/11 September) for rounds 19, 20 and 21 of the GB3 Championship. After a season of mostly unrewarded potential, Anglo-Thai racer Branden Oxley brought home his maiden series win, and the team’s first win of the season. With a brief, extra morning practice session on Saturday to allow drivers to familiarise themselves with the full Grand Prix circuit layout, it was straight into qualifying, where a disruption caused a red flag just five minutes into the session as a driver went off at[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing is pleased to announce that 19-year-old racer Zak Taylor will join the team for the remainder of the GB3 Championship season, meaning the Tewkesbury outfit will field a three-car line up for the final rounds of 2022. Zak has been competing in the series this year with Fortec, scoring a best result so far of third at Spa-Francorchamps in July, the same weekend that the team celebrated podium finishes for McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley. Starting out in karts, the Brit was a finalist in the 2018 Ginetta Scholarship, making his racing debut a year later after[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing had a tough time at the weekend (July 30/31) as the GB3 Championship finished back-to-back race meetings on Grand Prix circuits, travelling from Spa-Francorchamps to Silverstone. Coming into the event off the back of a successful, double podium trip to Belgium, the team was aiming to carry on that form, buoyed further by the addition of Ayrton Ori to the line-up for the rest of the season. Sadly, a closely fought qualifying session meant margins were fine and with McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley unable to hook it up for a fully clean lap, while Ayrton built[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing is pleased to announce that it will run three cars for the remainder of the season as American teenager Ayrton Ori will join its GB3 Championship line-up. Set to make his debut in the series at Silverstone this coming weekend of July 30-31, the Florida-based racer will join team-mates McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley, who come off the team’s best results of the year so far, claiming a podium each at Spa-Francorchamps. Ayrton began his karting career at just five years of age and has experience in single seaters and sportscars alike. Most recently, the 18-year-old competed[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing enjoyed its best weekend of the season so far as the GB3 Championship visited the fabled Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium at the weekend (July 22-24) as Branden Oxley and McKenzy Cresswell claimed podium finishes. Both cars performed well during Friday’s test sessions and that form continued into qualifying, as Branden ran towards the top of the field for much of the session, before being shuffled down in the closing stages, though his efforts would mean he lined up on the front row for the second race. McKenzy was consistent, recording the sixth quickest time for both contests, leaving[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing claimed a hat-trick of top ten finishes in the GB3 Championship at the weekend (June 25/26) as McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley battled a close and competitive field at Snetterton. After a promising test at Silverstone before the race weekend, where the team confirmed that the cars have good pace, things continued in pre-event testing at the Norfolk venue, especially on older tyre runs. Sadly, come qualifying on Saturday morning, with the field so closely matched, despite both drivers being within 0.8s of pole, they would line up 12th and 14th. It was McKenzy, in 14th, who[…..]
Chris Dittmann Racing claimed a first podium finish of the season in the GB3 Championship on a weekend (May 28/29) which proved taxing for both team and drivers, as the series travelled to Donington Park. It was tough from the get-go for the team, as both drivers surprisingly struggled for the ultimate pace across two days of testing held before the event, which unfortunately continued into the weekend itself, McKenzy qualifying 12th for race one and Branden 19th. Both drivers fared well in the opening contest, avoiding opening lap dramas to make up a number of places, McKenzy up five[…..]
