The second half of the 2016 F3 Cup championship began with a tricky weekend at Oulton Park in Cheshire. Early morning rain meant Stuart Wiltshire, Tony Bishop and Malcolm Scott opted to head into qualifying with wet tyres on the slowly drying circuit. Despite further rain during the session all three improved late on in the session, with Wiltshire vaulting into the top six. That gain demoted team-mate Bishop to seventh and Scott to 10th. Wiltshire wins with CDR at Spa

Tewkesbury’s Chris Dittmann Racing (CDR) tasted victory in Europe in F3 Cup, as Stuart Wiltshire claimed his maiden race win at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. At one of the world’s most famous and most challenging circuits, Wiltshire started from second on the grid but slipped back to third early on. F3 Cup heads for Spa

F3 Cup returns this weekend with a visit to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for rounds seven and eight of 2016. Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop will be expected to bounce back after difficult weekends at Brands Hatch, as both left with a brace of non-finishes apiece despite being at the head of the field. Chris Dittmann Racing was left ruing what might have been after a luckless weekend at Brands Hatch in F3 Cup. The weekend began in promising fashion, with team-mates Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop locking out the second row for the squad during qualifying. F3 Cup front-runner Chris Dittmann Racing heads to Brands Hatch for round two of the championship this weekend (May 14-15). Both Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop secured podiums on the opening F3 Cup weekend, held at Donington Park in April, lying third and fourth in the Drivers’ Championship. Double podium in F3 Cup opener

Chris Dittmann Racing returned to F3 Cup action with a brace of podiums for drivers Stuart Wiltshire, Tony Bishop and team newcomer Malcolm Scott at Donington Park. CDR begins F3 Cup title defence

The 2016 F3 Cup season gets underway at Donington Park National this weekend (April 23-24), with Chris Dittmann Racing determined to retain its Teams’ Championship crown. Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop remain for the Tewkesbury-based team, with Malcolm Scott joining them under the CDR banner for the new season.
