Early morning rain meant Stuart Wiltshire, Tony Bishop and Malcolm Scott opted to head into qualifying with wet tyres on the slowly drying circuit. Tewkesbury’s Chris Dittmann Racing (CDR) tasted victory in Europe in F3 Cup, as Stuart Wiltshire claimed his maiden race win at Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium. At one of the world’s most famous and most challenging circuits, Wiltshire started from second on the grid but slipped back to third early on. F3 Cup returns this weekend with a visit to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for rounds seven and eight of 2016. Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop will be expected to bounce back after difficult weekends at Brands Hatch, as both left with a brace of non-finishes apiece despite being at the head of the field. Both Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop secured podiums on the opening F3 Cup weekend, held at Donington Park in April, lying third and fourth in the Drivers’ Championship.
