F3 Cup heads for Spa

F3 Cup returns this weekend with a visit to the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium for rounds seven and eight of 2016.

Stuart Wiltshire and Tony Bishop will be expected to bounce back after difficult weekends at Brands Hatch, as both left with a brace of non-finishes apiece despite being at the head of the field.

Bishop was unlucky in Kent, having been in potential race-winning positions in races one and two until spinning out. Both he and Wiltshire left Brands Hatch having recorded a sixth-place finish, –Wiltshire in race two, Bishop in race three.

Wiltshire, the 2015 championship runner-up, heads to Belgium in seventh place in the standings, one place ahead of team-mate Bishop. Malcolm Scott, also running with Chris Dittmann Racing in 2016, lies one place further back in ninth.

Qualifying takes place on Friday June 24 at 9:45am local time, with a second session at 3:25pm. Race one begins on Saturday June 25 at 12:45pm, race two gets underway at 11:45am on Sunday.
