The Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit is the host for Chris Dittmann Racing and rounds four, five and six of the BRDC British F3 Championship this weekend (16-17 April).
It will be the debut of Indian youngster Krishnaraaj Mahadik, after he missed the season opener at Snetterton in early April. The 17-year-old was replaced by Paul Sieljes, who secured points thanks to his 15th and 17th place finishes.
Quinlan Lall and Jeremy Wahome both return and will be looking to build on promising showings in Norfolk. Lall’s results – 18th, 12th and 14th – belie what were potential top 10 finishes, twice clashing with a rival and dropping down the field. The American heads to Brands Hatch in 15th place in the standings.
Wahome showed showed impressive progress and will carry the confidence gained into his Grand Prix circuit debut.
Chris Dittmann, team manager, said: “Our season really starts here this weekend. Snetterton was difficult, but there were glimpses of the guys’ true pace. Unfortunately it didn’t show in the results. Hopefully the weather at Brands Hatch will be kinder and we should be able to push on.
“But for a couple of small mistakes we could have come away with a few top 10s in the first rounds. It wasn’t to be, but we’ve been working together over the last few weeks to help cut those out and to try make the most of the opportunities.
“Paul did a good job stepping in but it’s great to be able to welcome Krishnaraaj back. He will be playing catch up a bit having missed Snetterton but it’s his first season and should gain some great experience. It will a big ask for him to come in and be straight up to speed but I’m confident he’ll be able to claim three good results.”
