Chris Dittmann Racing is delighted to announce that young Indian racer Divy Nandan will join the team in the F4 British Championship, starting with this weekend’s trip to Snetterton. Divy started karting back home in India with Narain Karthikeyan Racing Academy when he was 17 years of age, competing with the outfit two years. Chris Dittmann Racing had a tough time at the weekend (July 30/31) as the GB3 Championship finished back-to-back race meetings on Grand Prix circuits, travelling from Spa-Francorchamps to Silverstone. Set to make his debut in the series at Silverstone this coming weekend of July 30-31, the Florida-based racer will join team-mates McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley, who come off the team’s best results of the year so far, claiming a podium each at Spa-Francorchamps. Chris Dittmann Racing enjoyed its best weekend of the season so far as the GB3 Championship visited the fabled Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium at the weekend (July 22-24) as Branden Oxley and McKenzy Cresswell claimed podium finishes. Both cars performed well during Friday’s test sessions and that form continued into qualifying, as Branden ran towards the top of the field for much of the session, before being shuffled down in the closing stages, though his efforts would mean he lined up on the front row for the second race. Chris Dittmann Racing travelled north to Croft circuit in Yorkshire at the weekend (25/26 June) for rounds 13, 14, and 15 of the F4 British Championship season, as local racer Joel Pearson aimed to continue his development. After a tough weekend last time out at Oulton Park, the focus remained on Joel as he learns and improves every time he climbs behind the wheel. Chris Dittmann Racing claimed a hat-trick of top ten finishes in the GB3 Championship at the weekend (June 25/26) as McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley battled a close and competitive field at Snetterton. After a promising test at Silverstone before the race weekend, where the team confirmed that the cars have good pace, things continued in pre-event testing at the Norfolk venue, especially on older tyre runs. Coming from the high of two top ten finishes last time out, Chris Dittmann Racing headed to Oulton Park for rounds 10, 11, and 12 of the F4 British Championship, where ultimately, it was disappointment for Joel Pearson and the team as bad luck ensured they left empty handed. Grid position on the narrow 2.2-mile circuit would set the tone for the weekend and as such, qualifying would prove crucial for the young drivers. Chris Dittmann Racing claimed a first podium finish of the season in the GB3 Championship on a weekend (May 28/29) which proved taxing for both team and drivers, as the series travelled to Donington Park. It was tough from the get-go for the team, as both drivers surprisingly struggled for the ultimate pace across two days of testing held before the event, which unfortunately continued into the weekend itself, McKenzy qualifying 12th for race one and Branden 19th. Chris Dittmann Racing enjoyed its best result in the F4 British Championship after an excellent drive by Joel Pearson on just his and the team’s second weekend in the closely fought single seater series. Coming straight from a busy GB3 weekend at Silverstone, the team travelled to Brands Hatch to continue its dual campaign.
