Chris Dittmann Racing returned to F4 British Championship action at the weekend (July 28-30) after a five-week summer break, as the series headed to Croft in North Yorkshire. Chris Dittmann Racing headed to sunny Northamptonshire at the weekend (June 23-25) as the F4 British Championship raced at Silverstone; the home of British motorsport, on the iconic Grand Prix circuit for the first time. After a mixed bag of results in Friday’s free practice, it was straight into qualifying on Saturday morning for the three young racers. Chris Dittmann Racing is excited to announce that Swedish teenager Gustav Jonsson will be the third young driver to join the team in the F4 British Championship grid this season, rounding out its entry for 2023. The youngster started his motorsport journey in 2017, when he competed in the MKR Series Sweden in the Junior 60 class, going on to progress through the categories in the Swedish Championship each year from 2019 to 2022. Chris Dittmann Racing is pleased to announce that F4 British Championship race winner Daniel Guinchard will join the team for the 2023 season. The Northamptonshire-based teenager began his karting career in 2015, showing his mettle by taking the championship win in the ADAC Kartmasters OK Junior category in 2020, and becoming Rotax World Champion on the international stage later that year. In 2021, Daniel became the first junior driver in history to win two British titles in a single season, dominating both the Junior Rotax and Junior X30 classes, before making the jump into single seaters.
