Autumn Fisher to make British F4 debut with Chris Dittmann Racing

Canadian-American racer Autumn Fisher will step onboard a Chris Dittmann Racing Tatuus T-421 chassis for her first laps in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship certified by the FIA this weekend.

The 18-year-old recently moved into car racing, competing in the French F4 Championship after previously racing karts. She got her season underway at Nogaro earlier last month and has already built up valuable experience in Formula 4 machinery.

Having been used to running a Mygale M21-F4 with a Renault engine, she will need to adjust to the chassis and engine package used in the British F4 series. However, her ability to adapt quickly should see her settle in with ease.

Autumn will have two 45-minute free practice sessions on Friday to get up to speed, at 09:35 and 13:35. Qualifying follows on Saturday morning at 10:00 for 35 minutes, with the first of three races taking place at 16:10. The final two contests of the weekend are scheduled for 12:10 and 16:35, both of which will be broadcast live on ITV4 and ITVX.

“It’s very exciting for me to join Chris Dittmann Racing for the Brands Indy round of the British F4 Championship. I’m working hard to develop as a racing driver every day. Taking part in such a competitive championship will help me learn and develop. It’s very exciting, and I can’t wait to be on track.”

Chris Dittmann, Team Principal

“We’re delighted to welcome Autumn to the team for the Brands Hatch weekend. She has a big weekend of learning ahead, with a new car, circuit, and championship, but we’re confident she’ll adapt quickly. The Brands Hatch Indy circuit is relatively short, with only six corners, which should aid her learning. Autumn will also benefit from working alongside Tommy and drawing on his experience, so we’re looking forward to seeing how she progresses.”
