Chris Dittmann Racing back on the top step after stellar Silverstone weekend

Tommy Harfield secured Chris Dittmann Racing’s first win of the season at Silverstone with an excellent lights-to-flag drive, while Piotr Orzechowski claimed his first Rookie Cup podium to bring further silverware home for the team.
Starting from pole for race two, Tommy made a strong getaway and built a narrow lead over Arjen Kraling, who held second despite coming close to the pit wall after a slow start.
Once he settled into a rhythm, Tommy was impressively consistent under pressure from Kraling. He briefly extended his lead to more than a second during a middle stint in which he set seven consecutive laps within a tenth of a second of each other.
Kraling began to close on Tommy in the final few laps, but received a five-second penalty for track limits. That gave Tommy the breathing room to manage the car and cross the line for his first F4 victory since Brands Hatch in 2025.
Elsewhere among the CDR drivers, Henry Mercier made strong progress from 24th on the grid. He gained six places in the opening stages of the second race before eventually finishing 16th, while Daniella Sutton and Piotr finished 24th and 25th respectively.

Tommy’s victory followed a much more chaotic first race, which featured several incidents and two safety car periods. All four drivers did well to avoid trouble, particularly Piotr and Tommy, who both had to take evasive action at Luffield. Piotr dropped to 12th in the process.
Henry gained nine places to move into 16th, while Daniella climbed to 18th in the opening stages before the safety car was deployed.
Piotr worked hard to recover positions and made an inspired move around the outside at Woodcote to take 11th. Although he could make no further progress, he had done enough to claim his first silverware of the year with third place in the Rookie Cup.
Still on a high from his win, Tommy had a tougher final race. He defended sixth place from Haarni Sadiq through a fierce battle that ran from Maggotts to the exit of Luffield, before finishing eighth. Daniella was involved in contact on lap one, which dropped her to the back of the field, while Henry fought from 23rd to finish 15th in his last race for the team.
Sadly, Piotr was unable to take part in the final race after burning out the clutch. He will be looking to end the season on a high when the team travels to Brands Hatch in Kent for the final three races of the year from 9–11 October.

Chris Dittmann, Team Principal

“Overall, I think it’s been very positive, with all four drivers showing really good pace at different points across the weekend. Tommy has done really well, and it’s thoroughly deserved after he’s worked so hard throughout the season.

“For Henry, it’s his last race weekend with us, so we have mixed feelings. We’re disappointed to see him go, but he had a great weekend overall and charged through the field in the races.

“Piotr and Daniella both showed great pace in the races, and it was great to see Piotr get his first rookie podium. The burnt-out clutch in the final race was disappointing, though.

“There are only a couple of weeks until Brands Hatch, so we’ll be working hard in the build-up and seeing what we can do in the final rounds.”
